UFO and Extraterrestrial Disclosure: The Rendlesham Forest UFO Case?!

Tuesday, December 28th, marked the 30th anniversay of the Rendlesham Forest or Bentwaters incident, where unidentified flying objects (UFOs) or strange lights of unknown origins were reported in 1980, by a security patrol at the East Gate of the RAF Woodbridge near the Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk in England. One of the servicemen, Sargeant Jim Penniston, later claimed to have encountered a "craft of unknown origin" and to have made detailed notes of its features, touched its "warm" surface, and copied the numerous symbols on its body." The object allegedly flew away after their brief encounter. Penniston also claimed to have seen a triangular landing gear on the object. The incident has since become the most famous sightings of UFOs to have ever occurred in Britain and is often referred to as "Britain's Roswell" and is considered as one of the best-known UFO events to be seen worldwide in documented history.
Following the event, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) denied that it posed any threat to national security and stated that it was therefore never investigated as a security matter. Later evidence indicated that there was a substantial MoD file on the subject and this led to claims of a cover-up. Some interpreted this as part of a larger pattern of information suppression concerning the true nature of unidentified flying objects, by both the United States and British governments. However, when the file was released in 2001 it turned out to consist mostly of internal correspondence and responses to inquiries from the public. The lack of any in-depth investigation confirmed that the case was never taken seriously by the MoD. - Wikipedia.
