In my previous examination of the 2012 phenomena and the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, I indicated that there are no clear scientific evidence that the world can end. As a matter of fact, I went on to regard the 2012 theories of cataclysmic events portrayed in the Hollywood film and further perpetuated as the fulfillment of apocalyptic prophecy throughout our popular culture, as largely fictitious and borne entirely out of a pervasively deceptive narrative. Just what exactly is this deception? Is it really a deception? What could account for the myriad of monumental and mysterious Earth changes happening across the planet, increasing at an ever-rising frequency into what seems like a crescendo of global crisis? Magnetic shifts, global warming, global cooling, climate instability, tectonic plate movements, expansion of ocean floor levels, erratic gulf stream current, frequent high-magnitude earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, melting of the polar ice caps, mass flooding, extreme winds, severe temperatures, massive sinkholes, weird aerial anomalies,...
Just what the hell is going on? A question frequently uttered to symbolize the perplexity associated with the mystifying events happening in space, in our skies, on the Earth and definitely under it. A quickening avalanche of astoundingly strange events, forcefully pulverizing through our illusory reality, piercing into the inner conscious and creating a paradigm shift in perception with each visual acquisition.
Such is the case with the unnatural heavy snow anomalies that has left the Northeastern states of America in a monster blizzard of strong winds and waist-high drifts. The heaviest snow in six decades on record.
The storm, with winds gusting to 30 miles per hour (48 kilometers per hour), reached New York at midday yesterday... The city’s Central Park had 20 inches (51 centimeters) of snow by 8 a.m., the most for the month since 1948, the National Weather Service said... The snowfall was the fifth-largest on record for the city... The storm forced airlines to cancel more than 6,000 flights since yesterday, when airports began to close... As much as 29 inches of snow was reported in Bergen County, New Jersey, while Union County had as much as 26, the Weather Service said. Winds gusted to almost 70 mph in some areas... Boston and its suburbs may receive as much as 18 inches from the storm,... Part of central Massachusetts may receive as much as 22 inches.'There may have been storms that equaled this, but it doesn’t get much worse than this,' Tom Kines, a meteorologist at State College, Pennsylvania-based AccuWeather Inc., said by telephone. The storm and heavy snow conditions have now reached as far south as Florida leaving behind airline costs of up to $150 million dollars. This comes against the background of the coldest weather experienced in Europe since 1890, where temperatures dipped consistently below freezing point with a constant onslaught of snow, rain and sleet; causing major delays, cancellations and disruptions across European airports, grounding thousands passengers. What's worst, researchers and climate scientists, using computer models to assess the pattern and impact of these weather patterns believe that the current conditions will become more frequent in the years to come, especially given the impact of the disappearing Arctic Sea ice sheet, causing cold air to permeate across Europe's air stream.

Speaking of stream, several months ago, I highlighted the work of Dr. Gianluigi Zangari, the Italian theoretical physicist, who declared that the BP oil spill had stalled the North Atlantic Gulf Stream loop current. Dr. Zangari concluded that this could have catastrophic consequences on Earth's climate if it fails to reorganize.
The Loop Current is a clockwise flow that extends northward into the Gulf of Mexico and joins the Yucatan Current and the Florida Current to the Gulf Stream. Although at first glance the Loop Current appears confined within the Gulf, scientists define it as an “element of an extremely complex, open system”: as all other “elements” of the so-called “Earth System”, are not separable from the others. These various “elements” of the Earth System (i.e., atmosphere, landmasses and so forth) are so strongly correlated to one another that at some point, they become indivisible. Why is this important to all life on the planet? The Gulf Stream is a strong interlinked component of the Earth's global network of ocean conveyor currents, which drive the planet's weather systems. For this reason, Zangari's concern is that should the Loop Current fail to restart, dire global consequences may ensue as a result of extreme weather changes and many other critical phenomena. The repercussions of which could trigger widespread droughts, floods, crop failures and subsequent global food shortages. - Yowusa.
This analysis was first met with disdain by fellow scientists and climatologists, but now it seems that the unprecedented heatwave and uncontrollable wildfires in Russia, the floods in Pakistan, the increased breaking up of the Greenland ice-sheet and the noticeably colder temperatures across Europe over the last couple of months, has prompted a re-examination and rethink of its effects.
The Gulf Stream currents that give Britain its mild climate have weakened dramatically, offering the first firm scientific evidence of a slowdown that threatens the country with temperatures as cold as Canada’s. The Atlantic Ocean “conveyor belt” that carries warm water north from the tropics has weakened by 30 per cent in 12 years, scientists have discovered. The findings, from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, give the strongest indication yet that Europe’s central heating system is breaking down under the impact of global warming. - The Times Online.
Today, talk-show host Jeff Rense published the charts taken from the Naval Oceanographic Office site that shows that, not only is the loop current slowing down or stopped, but it is seriously damaged resulting from BP's irreparable fractured and faulty drilling work on the seafloor of the Gulf of Mexico.
As was seen in the movie, The Day After Tomorrow, the erratic movements in the Gulf Stream would cause major problems around the globe since the currents' thermohaline circulation extends throughout the planet's entire air and ocean systems from the North to the South poles. Therefore, this plus the incremental weather patterns would have a damaging effect on the the natural ecosystems and infrastructure, influencing the production, demand and supply of food, water, and fuel. If this is not rectified, several experts forecasts a major collapse of mankind's technological infrastructure and societies, given that the effects could alter the natural habitat of livable areas. This more than likely could result in the destruction of civilization from civil disobedience, riots and conflicts.

There was "rampant demand" for agricultural commodities from China, and rising corn prices may drive gains in other grains, according to a report released last week from analysts at the bank. Surging crude-oil costs, low global food stockpiles and a weakening dollar may also bolster prices, the report said. - Journal Star.
Noted meteorologist and astrophysicist Piers Corbyn, the man who predicted the current weather anomalies, is projecting that it will get much worse and that Earth will soon enter a mini-Ice Age.

As if that is not enough, the Earth has been subjected to the sudden appearance of sinkholes from Gautemala in South America to Texas in the United States to Papua New Guinea to China. Circular and clearly defined, as if someone or something chiseled upwards from the inner Earth towards the surface. One such amazing story emanates from Venus, Florida; where a 140 feet wide sinkhole opened up Orpha Hernandez's 10-acre family property on Alphonso in less than five minutes.
Thursday, Luis Hernandez felt the soil trembling beneath his feet. "He had to run that way," said his wife, Orpha, pointing to the east behind their three-bedroom mobile home. He heard air coming up, "Whooo, whooo, whooo," Orpha approximated the noise, as if underground air was rushing to the surface. Luis knows because he looked at the clock on his phone – in just five minutes, a 100-foot wide sinkhole opened in the sand, gulping pots with palm trees and ligustrum hedges and catley guava. By Friday, they'd rescued all the nursery plants from the one-acre plot, moving them to the adjoining nine acres. This morning, the South African authorities had relocate over 3,000 families after huge sinkholes appeared suddenly close to their homes near Pretoria.
About 50 families living in an informal settlement in Bapsfontein have been moved so far, officials said. Authorities have said the land is no longer fit for human settlement. 'Immediate evacuation' "The situation is so bad that there are several sinkholes that have formed around the area," Zweli Dlamini, a spokesman for the Ekurhuleni municipality... Some of the sinkholes are more than 80m (263ft) across, and cracks now run throughout the land... The relocation process is expected to run until mid-January... - BBC.
On Sunday, in the China's Jiangxi Province a 1,500 feet long sinkhole caused the evacuation of over 800 people. The sinkhole measured 150 feet wide and 15 feed deep. Another sinkhole in a long series of underground anomalies witnessed this year in the communist state, where bubbling red mud was also seen for over a week coming up from underneath the asphalt during the summer.
Over the last two months, several major earthquake swarms occurred in the Gulf of Aden near Yemen, Bonin Islands in Japan and the Vanuatu region in the South Pacific Ocean. What is quite weird about the swarms is that following the initial hit, which usually varies from a magnitude of 5 to 7.5 on the Richter scale, a consistent force of 5 has been recorded at an also consistent measurement depth of 10 kilometres. Official figures from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reveals that about 100 earthquakes were detected for each region. This comes against the background of nearly 250,000 fatalities from earthquakes in 2010, primarily populated by the estimated 230,000 deaths from the magnitude 7 quake in Haiti and the 8.8 in Chile. An anomalous year in seismic activity with the sixth deadliest earthquake in recorded history and the fifth strongest since 1900.

Today, several volcanic earthquakes were recorded at Mount Bulusan, Sorsogon in Northern Philippines. "Bulusan Volcano's seismic network recorded six volcanic earthquakes during the past 24 hours. Steaming activity at the crater and known thermal vents were not observed due to clouds covering the summit of the volcano," the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on its website. According to Phivolcs, an alert status of level 1 has been issued with areas within four kilometres of the summit of the volcano, designated and advised of the permanent danger posed if Bulusan erupts into sudden steam explosions. Meanwhile, the active volcano on Russia's Kamchatk Peninsula spewed out plumes of ash at an height of up to 4.3 kilometres or 2.67 miles. Seismologists registered over 20 tremors in the vicinity of the 1,486-meter (4,875-foot) Karymsky. They also noted that there are 29 other volcanoes in the Kamchatka area that is active. Just last week, Mount Bromo volcano in Java, Indonesia forced the closure of airports for five days, after unleashing a powerful blast of volcanic debris. The country's chief volcanologists, believe that a larger eruptions will be on the way soon. Bromo's disruption of air traffic followed on the heels of the Eyjafjallajokull in Iceland, that paralyzed Europe earlier this year, halting traffic for nearly 10 million travelers. Such was the experience of other places like the Congo, Ecuador, the Philippines and Indonesia earlier in year. Indonesia, was pummeled by a deadly magnitude 7.7 earthquake, a tsunami that killed over 500 people and a volcano that damaged the homes of nearly half a million people in a 24-hour period in October.

This year the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared a record number of major disasters at 80 (up to the date this article was written), 50 over the yearly average. The Associated Press' 2010 compilation of day-by-day disasters runs at a staggering 64 printed pages long. FEMA is now encouraging and requesting that all Americans make emergency preparations as part of their New Year's resolutions for the coming year, 2011. "Emergencies can happen at anytime, anywhere," said Beth Freeman, Administrator of FEMA Region VII in Kansas City, Missouri. "They can range from natural disasters such as flooding to events such as power outages. The key to successful emergency response, regardless of the nature of the event, is personal preparedness. During this holiday season, make a resolution to be prepared through a few simple steps: get an emergency supply kit, make an emergency plan and be informed of the hazards in your area."

So, what is behind these Earth changes? Does it have to do with our Sun? Piers Corbyn firmly believes that the particles that flows from the Sun affects the climate of the Earth, through its interaction with the upper atmosphere and consequently the jet stream. By modeling, contrasting and comparing the Sun's activities with that of Earth changes, he has been able to forecast accurately at a striking rate of 85%, the weather patterns and atmospheric conditions of our planet. Could he be right? Is our destiny forged and aligned by the will of our star? If it is, then what could explain the continuing hyperactivity of it, Coronal Mass Ejections (or CMEs) and solar eruptions sending charged particles to create a perfect storm of rapidly expanding plasma bubble of hot gas wrapped with magnetic field lines that could strike the Earth with catastrophic results?
Solar activity levels over the last century have been exceptionally high, the highest in over 8000 years with the Sun's magnetic fields decreasing by approximately 25%. While many place blame on the Sun for the sudden uptick in the overall temperatures on the Earth, a number of astrophysicists and climate scientists speculate that these effects can be seen throughout the solar system and not based entirely on the fluctuations from solar activity. They point to a 300% increase in galactic dust entering the solar system; significant increases in Mercury's magnetosphere; a 2500% increase in the "green glow" on the cloud-shrouded Venus; a 50% erosion of ice featured over a 12-month period and the rapid appearance of clouds and ozone on Mars; the disappearance of Jupiter’s main cloud belts behind ammonia clouds, greater and expanding storms, increase in the density of the plasma torus on its moon Io, higher levels of brightness from its other moons Europa and Gannymede; Saturn's trademark shimmering rings have grown dimmer and have moved nearly 200 miles inward - constantly changing and evolving, while its plasma torus has become over 1000% denser; and the multiplication of atmospheric pressure and storms on Uranus, Neptune and Pluto as well.
Speaking of Saturn and Jupiter, this morning, the science community was awakened to the news of an enormous storm with a huge tail that erupted on planet Saturn's northern hemisphere.

Amateurs first sighted the storm earlier this month, but the Cassini spacecraft moved into a good position on Dec. 24 to photograph it from about 1.1 million miles away. Earth received the raw and unprocessed shots today. The storm has a huge central funnel and a long tail that sweeps around Saturn’s northern hemisphere for tens of thousands of miles. A shot in blue light (left) reveals the extent of the tail, but infrared light (right) shows detail of the storm’s amorphous core. The photos were taken exactly a month after Cassini recovered from a solar-flare-induced error that temporarily silenced the spacecraft from Nov. 2 through Nov. 24. - WIRED.
This news runs parralel with the theory that these climatic changes are happening across the Solar System. Further, Cassini and NASA's other spacecrafts also have a ringside seat to the revival of Jupiter's belt at the Southern Equator following the disappearance of the dark stripes in February from the aforementioned storm conditions.
Now, many fear that these extreme Earth, Sun and solar system changes will result in a global cataclysmic event causing significant and extensive geological, technological, economical and social disruptions; possibly bringing mankind to the brink of extinction, throwing us eventually back to the Stone Age. These fears are even more heightened when consideration is given to the fact that solar activity runs in eleven year cycles culminating in a solar maximum - when solar flares will hurl gigantic storm waves of proton and electrons at lightning speeds, radiating through and pummeling Earth's magnetosphere like a sledgehammer, converging on its polar regions in a 'Northern Lights' aurora borealis display, colliding and charging to alter the geomagnetic field and ultimately producing destructive magnetic storms. The next solar maximum is forecasted for some time during the final months of 2012 and is expected to be worse than the "perfect space storm" of 1859, where severe damage was done to the telegraphic network in the United States and Europe, resulting in widespread fires with colorful aurora seen as far as south as Hawaii and Italy.

The fears and predictions of a major cataclysm doomsday in the year 2012 stems not only from the evidence of extreme weather anomalies on the Sun or in the solar system, but importantly from the ancient mythologies, legends and stories that have appeared in our cultures and traditions across the globe, throughout the history of mankind. Ancient cultures have warned and prophesied of cosmic events, where celestial bodies in a highly eccentric orbit strikes the Earth or affects the solar system, creating upheavals and inundations. Myths like the Great Deluge or the Great Flood, where a civilization is destroyed by a divine being or deity as seen in the Biblical and Koranic account of Noah's Ark, the Epic of Gilgamesh, the story of Manu from the Hindu sanskrit religious Puranas text and Deucalion from ancient Greece. Other myths of catastrophism have been formulated as scientific theory and hypothesis, gaining widespread acceptance, such as that of an asteroid or group of asteroids striking Earth nearly 100 million years ago sometime during the Cretaceous period - scientists points to the 180 kilometres crater at Chicxulub in the Yucatan Peninsular of Mexico as evidence and concludes that the impact of this event practically wiped out nearly 75% of all species and ultimately destroyed the dinosaurs. The Russian-born American psychoanalyst Immanuel Velikovsky puts forward these theories of global catastrophy in his bestseller "World in Collision." Using comparative mythology, he propounded that Earth suffered from several collisions with planetary bodies, specifically Venus (Lucifer, in latin) and experienced extreme gravitational pull triggered by the mechanism of galactic alignment. He further speculated and explained that the electromagnetic effects destabilized the planet resulting in the sinking of the lost continent of Atlantis and other Biblical disasters such as the plagues of Egypt during the time of Moses.
These stories have blossomed and exploded into eschatological writings of the End of the World, End Times and End of the Age, propagated in the three Abrahamic religions merging with mainstream archeology and various mythological chronologies. Devoid of the empirical evidence and definitive proof, conjecture is often invested like hands trying to hold on to gushing water as it flows effortlessly and evasively away. As is the case with the Planet X theory. Are the monumental changes a result of the approach of Planet X or Nibiru, the Death Star - a large brown dwarf, nearly the size of Jupiter, on a elliptical orbit with Sol, our Sun? Or is it Nemesis, a binary companion to the Sun, that would ultimately explain the apparent discrepancies in the orbital movements of our star and outer planetary objects in the Solar System? Or both? Personally, I don't subscribe fully to the Planet X or Nemesis hypothesis, though I will often give an ear and eye to any research on the subject. Yet, at its core, there is something that runs parallel with my research. The theory of a binary Sun to Sol. By its very name, Sol (solitary), an indication is given that it once had a twin or mate. Sol's mate (soul mate). The Solitary One, who lost its twin following an interstellar explosion that resulted in a massive star and planetary displacement. What seems quite obvious to me, is that if our Sun constitutes a great effect on the changes on the Earth via the charged particles from solar flares, as espoused in the theories of Corbyn, then those changes must be a direct result from its reaction to something else. A catalyst. Whatever, the name of the object is called, the definition of the word catalyst resonates with it perfectly.
Catalyst - A substance that causes or accelerates a chemical reaction without itself being affected... something that causes activity between two or more persons or forces... a person or thing that precipitates an event or change... a energy or object that causes others to be more friendly, enthusiastic, defensive or energetic.
Consider the following video of the vast ribbon/bubble of magnetism at the edge of the Solar System, bisecting the heliosphere, that was discovered last year by NASA's IBEX (Interstellar Boundary Explorer) Spacecraft. Secondly, understand the purpose of Sol and the heliosphere in the defense against cosmic rays and interstellar clouds that tries to enter our Solar System.
Ancient astrology recognizes that there is this great cycle caused by the Earth's wobble on its axis and one complete wobble is approximately 26,000 (25,920) years. In the Greco-Hellenistic period, there were astrological theories about how the Sun shifts through the twelve signs of the Zodiac, dividing the period into twelve periods or ages or chapters referred to as the World Age doctrine. This is seen in the Old Testament of the Bible, with the symbolism of Aries the Lamb and Pisces the Fish, and currently we are about to move into the Age of Aquarius. So this astrological doctrine has to do with our changing angular rotation due to the larger cosmos. Many ancient cultures around the world believe that the Precession of the Equinox results in changes in human consciousness. I posit that the fascination with the Precession of the Equinox, especially when it takes a complete lifetime to recognize that the stars have moved just one degree, is that the Earth moving with Sol and the entire Solar System is locked in a co-orbit with the Sirius Star System. Therefore, we are part of a binary star system in a never-ending movement with Sirius, in repeated elliptical orbits for 26,000 years. This conforms to Kepler's law of planetary motions - "The orbit of every planet is an ellipse with the Sun at one of the two foci." Therefore, a movement in great ellipses rather than circles, speeding up when they are closer due stronger gravitation and slows down when they are farther apart. This obedience to the law would explain the DNA-shaped, serpent or spiral movement of the co-orbit of Sirius with Sol. Simon Newcomb, the Canadian-American astronomer and mathematician noticed that Procession of the Equinox was speeding up quickly exponentially every year. This gave way to a constant, that he added to the Procession of the Equinox equation - Newcomb constants.
